How does your approach differ from others?

Our style of delivery is informal and supportive.  We are environmentalists at heart and have prior work experience in industry, education etc.  We work best when we can work collaboratively.  This gives our clients clear insight into how we do our work and also clear budget control too.

How do you set about pricing your work?

Accepted Answer

We use the accepted industry approach of costed time.  However, we tend to work on issues, projects and problems that we have encountered in a similar way previously.  This means we are often able to offer a firm and fixed fee for a defined piece of work.

How do you ensure that all data and information shared is saved securely and confidentially?

We have a cloud-based data archive and have an in-house document management system that ensures we maintain our clients information separately from all other projects, both past and present.

How many environmental permit applications has the company worked on?

Accepted Answer

We have prepared to submission more than 20 permit applications together with permit transfers and variations.  These were from a wide range of sectors, including food and drink, energy from waste, aggregates, council recycling centres and metal manufacture, energy.

What is you approach to regulatory engagement?

Accepted Answer

We have only one approach – open door policy.  We have supported many businesses that were liable to prosecution.  Our approach is to acknowledge error and failure and then set about addressing it.  We have successfully negotiated with regulatory authorities on behalf of our clients and lifted the threat based on our strategic and conciliatory approach.

We are asked this question a lot!  It is a combination of a range of approaches that include structured analysis with brainstorming sessions all the way through to simple intuition and sudden insights.
